A really well written book packed full of impactful moves, each fully illustrated and explained in detail to enable you to execute. The book covers both basic to more advanced moves enabling you to perfect your technique. Master Lee has immense depth and breath of knowledge of Muay Thai/Boran that he has packed into this book - a must for anyone serious Muay. The book supplements the theory with the history and philosophy behind Muay Thai which increases your understanding and helps deepen your understanding of the culture. Great buy!

5-stars without hesitation.

Muay Thai and Muay Boran is about more than just body conditioning and learning techniques. Whilst Master Lee's books teach you comprehensive and effective techniques in those areas, they also teach you the essential techniques in the other area necessary for success, namely mental conditioning and strategy. Combining these two aspects will open you up to new possibilities in your training and conditioning philosophy, resulting in a complete approach that will give you enormous strength of mind and body. By practicing the routines (on p.141) for 1 hour a week I literally saw my body change in 2 months - I now have abbs! Plus the strength and flexibility to move my body with confidence. I recommend keeping his books close at hand and repeating the techniques as often as possible. I give all of Master Lee's books 5-stars without hesitation - a far better investment than a tub of protein powder or any other supplement.

This book beautifully compliments Master Lee’s first book sharing the teachings of Muay (Submissions, Breaks & Locks of Muay Thai & Muay Boran). The power and energy of Master Lee's teaching is balanced with a light sense of humour and good-natured positivity, which I think is crucial to showing Muay the respect it deserves. The movements in this book have increased my flexibility and strength very quickly and noticeably -- my techniques are smoother, they flow faster and more easily, and my energy levels stay consistently high. Performing the actions has increased my physical fitness and improved my posture – but they also promote a sense of spiritual calmness with a similar effect to meditation.

One of the most useful parts of this book is a clear description of how to picture the energy flow through your body and beyond. I have found that relaxing and picturing the energy flow of each posture significantly improves my technique. This book reveals strategies for strength and flexibility that have been translated directly from the original source material, and cannot be found elsewhere in English.

The techniques are surrounded by a description of the outlook and philosophy that puts you in a "muay" state of mind. I have found this is as beneficial to my mental health as the strength and flexibility techniques are to my physical health.

Please consider this an unreserved recommendation from an eager pupil of Muay!
